The simplest backpack design is a bag attached to a set of shoulder straps. Such packs are used for general transportation of goods, and have variable capacity. The simplest designs consist of one main pocket. This may be combined with webbing or cordage straps, while more sophisticated models add extra pockets, waist straps, chest straps, padded shoulder straps, padded backs, and sometimes reflective materials for added safety at night. These packs are generally produced inexpensively.
This year, independent consultants, leaders, and the owner of Thirty-One Gifts will be celebrating November 27th by traveling to New York City to participate in World Vision’s Give-back Gift Shop in Bryant Park by sponsoring the Hope Kits visitors can create to help women in need and by visiting some of the locations where the kits will be distributed. World Vision’s Give-back Gift shop gives visitors a chance to step into the pages of World Vision’s holiday Gift Catalog and see how they can delight loved ones with a unique gift that will light up the life of a child in need. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/11/40/88/11408876c4541397397a61f4c70bdd00.jpg

Alternative names include haversack from the German Hafersack meaning "oat sack" (which more properly describes a small cloth bag on a strap worn over one shoulder and originally referred to the bag of oats carried as horse fodder), Kraxe (a German rucksack with a rigid framework), and bergen (a large load-carrying rucksack, from a design issued by the British Army during the Second World War). In fact, Britons used to call Alpine-style backpacks "Bergen rucksacks", maybe from the name of their creator, Norwegian Ole F. Bergan, combined with the name of the Norwegian city of Bergen. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/c1/d7/50/c1d750411a73750178e06d446be6b92d.jpg

Large backpacks, used to carry loads over 10 kilograms (22 lb), as well as smaller sports backpacks (e.g. running, cycling, hiking and hydration), usually offload the largest part (up to about 90%) of their weight onto padded hip belts, leaving the shoulder straps mainly for stabilising the load. This improves the potential to carry heavy loads, as the hips are stronger than the shoulders, and also increases agility and balance, since the load rides nearer the wearer's own center of mass. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/81/8d/45/818d45c8d48ce1857e20a29fa8bfa10d---gifts-thirty-one-gifts.jpg

The internal frame backpack is a recent innovation, invented in 1967 by Greg Lowe, who went on to found Lowe Alpine and Lowepro, companies specializing in backpacks and other forms of carrying bags for various equipment. An internal-frame pack has a large fabric section around an internal frame composed of strips of either aluminum, titanium or plastic, sometimes with additional metal stays to reinforce the frame. A complex series of straps works with the frame to distribute the weight and hold it in place. The internal frame permits the pack to fit closely to the wearer's back and minimizes shifting of the load, which is desirable when participating in activities that involve upper-body movement such as scrambling over rocky surfaces and skiing. However, the tight fit reduces ventilation, so these type of packs tend to be more sweaty than external frame packs. The internal construction also allows for a large storage compartment; a few lash points (including webbing loops and straps for sleeping bags and other large items) may be present, but as the frame is completely integrated, it is difficult to securely lash larger and heavier items which do not fit inside the compartment to the outside of the pack. Internal frame packs originally suffered from smaller load capacity and less comfortable fit during steady walking, but newer models have improved greatly in these respects. In addition, because of their snug fit, the improved internal frame models have largely replaced external frame backpacks for many activities. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/80/2c/db/802cdb5f816bdff8bc0ffc13a0744f42--travel-crafts-eagle-creek.jpg

So much stuff to carry, and so few hands. A Thirty-One backpack is exactly what you need to help you wrangle all the gear your daily life dictates while enabling you to remain true to your stylish side. Feed your need for cute, fun, and well-made bags with a Thirty-One Gifts backpack. The company understands women, knowing that just one bag is never enough to meet every need. Hectic, busy days require the security and ease of a cross-body backpack, while a quick trip to the park merits a simple drawstring version. Some Thirty-One backpacks serve multiple functions, such as insulated picnic bag that also works well as a diaper bag. Because Thirty-One offers several bags within each pattern family, you can coordinate all your backpacks with the same pattern or choose complementary ones. The versatile bags offer internal and external pockets to stow large and small items, and the thoughtful designs give you padded straps for comfort and features such as mesh or thermal-lined pockets for convenience. Sellers provide a large inventory on eBay to make your backpack shopping simple. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/d4/e9/63/d4e963d49f547273bd10322cf770457f.jpg
